Switzerland, Eastern Europe and Asia are also important sources of visitors to Tuscany.

The largest increase in visitors between 2005 and 2006 came from Ireland, Eastern Europe/CIS and Brazil which all increased by more than 25%.

Overall growth in foreign visitors between 2001 and 2006 was a modest 7.1% however the absolute number of visitors indicates that Tuscany is a well-established destination.
